Avon Breast Cancer Walk

On October 11th, I woke up early to go to Bryant Park to show my support for the fight against Breast Cancer by cheering on the Avon Breast Cancer walkers. It was very early in the morning, and I did not particularly like waking up that early on the weekend, but I knew I was doing it for a good cause. When I arrived, I met up with my class as we went to the assigned cheering station. At this station we saw many people walking to show their support for breast cancer. This showed me that there are many people supporting the breast cancer fight, as it is a growing problem and needs support. Although I would prefer to be walking rather than just cheering I do believe that I helped the cause simply by cheering the people that were walking, which made them feel better about what they were doing.
