Baruch Library Tour

This past Tuesday afternoon, our peer mentor, Jane Odartey took our group on a tour of the William and Anita Newman Library. This was a very educational experience, in which I was presented to the various ways of utilizing this library. When I first walked in, I was amazed by the library’s great size and tidiness. Jane first explained to us that we needed to activate our ID cards before we could actually check anything out of the library, which was crucial for us to acknowledge. She also showed us how to check out books, textbooks, and even calculators. This was all extremely valuable information which we all needed, being that we are freshmen and that we are all new to to this campus. At the conclusion of this tour, I felt that I had learned a great lot of useful information I needed in order to make use of the many resources offered here at the Baruch library. Jane made the entire time of this tour worthwhile, and I look forward to using this fascinating library in the future.
