So, last Thursday I “would have” spent nearly 5 hours on the fifth floor which had been flooded with freshmen waiting to attend the reception. I had two choices, do I wait in line fairly until my turn to enter or just skip everyone and get in there before it gets more crowded? I decided to just skip everyone and I got in, within the first 15mins (Thank God!). Anyway, so when I entered I received my folder containing papers regarding academic standards etc. I had no clue what they meant but luckily there were some advisers who helped explain to everyone the importance of these papers, luckily before I got a chance to throw them out. So I listened to a little lecture for about 5-6 mins or so, helped myself to refreshments and went around searching for whoever (including friends, lol no joke. I really wanted to get out of there, it was a total snooze) I could find to sign my “passport” . Finally after about 15mins I got my man Robert to sign my passport and I was out of there. But I guess it wasn’t such a terrible experience, seeing as I thought we had to stay from 12:30-2:00. I hope all the other clubs are just as “long”. lol
