After an absurdly long wait a small group of people, including myself, were let into the Mishkin Gallery to view the Mercedes Matter exhibition. The exhibition covered something like 60 years of her work, starting in the 1930s when she was 9 (as told by our knowledgeable tour-guide). It was interesting to see a lifetime of work from an artist I had never heard of before.
