Career Planning: Basic Interviewing Skills

 On November 12,2009, I attended a  career workshop on basic interviewing . During the  workshop I learned the  do’s and dont’s when goin to a interview. Like doing your resarch on the company before the interview  so the interviewer sees that your interested in their copmany.Women should wear skirt or pant suits but do your rearch on the attire of the company. Women should also wear  low heel shoes. Women should  not wear brown or green suits or perfume. Have  a smile and a firm handshake when greeting the interviwer. During the interview, you should  listen actively and  after  ask any questions  you  have. When the interview is over, write notes and a  thank you letter
