September 17,2009, which is approximately a month ago, i attended the first workshop as official Baruch freshman. It was the first workshop i had attended that contains largest amount of participants, and shortest time range. The workshop happened on Thursday right after art history class, when i got off from the class, i went down immedicately with my friends to room 5-125, which is the location posted on the invitation card. Surprisingly, the hallway in front of the room was heavily overcrowded. We tried to look for a friend from our English class, but we could only see people’s head and our cellphone wasn’t function by that time. And thus, i could only stay with my friends and wondered what would happen next.
After the long waiting, we were placed in a room for the workshop. when i settle down in a seat, i recognized the room that i was in is the room for my political class. Usually, when i have class at this room i will never pick a seat that is all the way at the back. However, i had no choice but sat over the back row. Then a speaker came in, explained the unexpected situation they had this time, and they release soon after they answered few questions. I got signature on my planer and left with my friend. Although the situation was confused, but it was great to end a workshop so early that i could have more free times.
