Today is my 5th workshop. Before I went to this workshop, I planed to take only 6 workshops in total, one from each catagory, so i could get rid of these workshops and do something else. After attended this workshop, I changed my mind, not only because I had engaged in today’s workshop, but also because the speaker had informed us the new policies for receiving helps from SARR, which is attend workshops. She had mentioned that, if we want to have our resumes check by SARR, the first thing we need to do is attend the workshop for writing a resume. Same policy applies to mock interviews. Due to these policies, i think it is impossible to take only 6 workshops, and finish the task ahead of time because I think myself really need SARR’s aids in writing resume and interviews.
Compare to other workshops, I think the way that listeners sign in for this workshop is rigid. There are three process to go, in order to prove you attended this workshop: sign on sign-in sheets, login using computer, and stamp on planners. Although these processes frustrated me at the beginning, but after the workshop, i think everything is worth because at least i learned that there are various internships: unpaid, paid, credit, and leadership program; whereas, before this workshop i only know intern equals to free labor. Any how, I completed the fifth one and there is more to go.
