College is much different from high school. Professors don’t care if you are attending the school or not. They don’t care if you are doing the homework assignment or not. Once they give out the syllabus, you are all on your own. You are responsible for your readings, homeworks and exams. You need to read your textbooks the day before the classes and come to the classes with preparation. Getting used to the blackboard is still bothering me. When I was in high school, teachers always reminded me the due day for homeworks. However, this is no longer happen in college. Every day, I need to check my blackboard to make sure I don’t miss any assignments and important announcements. So far, my Baruch experience is a little hard, but I believe I will adjust it soon. I am expecting my new school life in Baruch.
