Study Abroad Enrichment Workshop

The workshop that I attended on Thursday, September 17 was the Study Abroad Fair. The category was Community-Global Awareness and it ran from 12:00 to 2:45.  This was my first one and I enjoyed it. The setting was laid back and it was very informal. They had many stations set up with representatives from different countries to answer your questions. I went to all of them and I plan on studying abroad next year. It sounds like a great experience. I also met other freshman. The countries which caught my eye were England, Spain, and China. I thought the goal of the workshop was to broadan our horizons and see possibilities outside of Baruch. I got a lot out of it and it met my expectations. I spoke to representatives and students from those countries and they told me about their experiences.  I feel like I learned that if I study abroad it would strengthen my skills to handle the growing global marketplace. Overall, a positive workshop.

I actually wanted to go to that. Did they mention anything about going to Greece?
