Freshman Reception Student Life 9/17

The freshman reception was definitely chaotic. It seemed as if the entire freshman class was there on a line waiting for lemonade and cookies. I wondered how we would all fit in center for academic advisment. At first, I waited on the long line. Then I found a short cut which led me to the front of the line. The advantage to being one of the first people in the room was getting a folder with information about declaring a major and minor. Not everyone got the folder because there were so many people. From here I went on another line to get a signature. I met new people who i was standing online with and saw friends from high school. Eventually it got so packed that everyone passed around their books hoping to get a signature and go on their way. The woman who signed my workshop attendence passport signed in the wrong spot. Oh well. Hopefully the next workshop will be less crowded!
