Art Workshop

I went to Mishkin for the Arts at Baruch this week. The gallary was smaller then I though it will be, it only contain about 30 pictures. The topic of the arts is call “The natural landscape”, which the artists take a part of the photo, cut out the parts that he wants and then deisgn it.

There are a few pictures in which that the artists dye them into blue. Somehow, when I looked at the pictures, it make me think of the photoshop pictures that I did. I sometimes like to change my pictures around just for fun.

Out of all the pitures, the only pictures that I acutally know is the “Li Yuan Garden” by Erica Lennard. Perhaps all the Chinese garden may acutally look the same, on perhaps I see the picture before, it somehow look fimilar.

There is also a picture name Shodenji, which Shodenji is a temple in Tokyo, Japan. The picture was a wall with three bushes in front of it. I find it funny because the bushes look like Mickey Mouse; but my friend, Miko say it looks like a turtle thou.

Overall, I think the mishkin gally was funny. It was a nice places and I have a nice time in there. Yet, I feel like I won’t be going to the Mishkin too often. The places was a little too quite and too plain, I feel like a little depressing inside when I see the white walls and (mostly) black and white pictures. But if someone really enjoys art, they should go to Mishkin.
