SACC: Everything you need to know..Academic Enrichment Workshop

Today i went to a workshop which was about everything students need to know to pass math. The speaker was a math tutor from the SACC and she talked about different ways to study math. For example, she gave us the idea to split each page in our notebook in half. On one half we would write down a sample problem and on the other side, definitions and formulas used to solve the problem. I thought this was a good idea. She stressed the fact of getting enough sleep before a math exam and not cramming for it. Whatever we know at the day of the test, we know. Also, she talked about the math tutoring that is available at the SACC. There are also sample final exams there.

This was probably the most informative workshop i have been to so far. Also, there were only about twenty people in the room which was nice for a change. I definitely recommend attending this workshop if you want more information about the tutoring available at Baruch and how to study for math properly.
