This workshop was primarily based on race and how it affects everyone. Even though we live in one of the most diverse cities in the world, most parts of America are very segregated. The population of nonwhites are increasing dramatically. Latinos, blacks, and asian percentage is increasing while white population is decreasing, which is due to the fact of immigration. Racism is still a major issue even in the 21st century and i dont think racism will ever completely disappear. However we are making great strides in overcoming racisim by electing our first black president. This workshop was very informative, graphs were illustrated which were very helpful in making the discussion easily understandable. However the workshop dragged on for too long which made it slightly boring. I would still recommend it to other because racism is a very important issue and something that should be discussed.
