Community Global Awareness The Changing Nature of Race, Power, and Ethnicity in the Era of Obama

My history professor Ms. Fernandez told the class to attend a workshop about Obama and his change in America. The workshop was informative and made me realize a lot about race and ethnicity. I learned how latinos are becoming a majority and that certain ethnic groups favor a specific area. Living in New York City, I thought there were a lot of asians in america but I was wrong. There are barely any asians in America compared to the other groups. During the presentation, a student from Baruch College spoke about how people are so comfortable in their own ethnic groups and that we all should spread our culture and mix with others.
