This meeting was basically a tutorial on how one should handle college life, which can have issues and conflicts and aspirations, and how to handle those things. The workshop consisted of a powerpoint presentation, which delivered guidelines and tips on how college life can be productive and how one can make it productive. They talked about how time management is crucial to a successful academic life. Also they talked about how building friendships can lead to to new beginnings and start off new life for one. Also we had to talk to random people in the room to learn about each other and such. I talked to Hao, a person who recently immigrated from China. I also talked to a few females who told me how they disliked and liked Baruch. That was both the awkard part and also the most fun. However I admit i slept sometimes during the presentation but who didn’t. But the key to me is not to leave school right after you’re done with class. Do something! I learned that in high school but it was nice to hear it again.
