I wasn’t surprised to find out that many students have poor communication skills. A lot of students rely on text messaging as well as instant messaging as a form of communication between their friends. They forget about the importance of having communication skills throughout for things such as presentations in college as well as job interviews. I think the biggest problem for students today is that they are too shy to speak in public in front of large crowds. Personally, from experience, I have learned to interact with the crowd and to not worry about making a few mistakes.
