Club Fair, the big event where you get to learn about clubs, get some free food, and sign up for any club you were interested in.
The Club Fair, to say the least, was a rather disorganized mess; with needless security that did nothing more than creating a traffic jam of people that made it difficult to walk in or out of the club fair. I don’t see why you HAD to scan in your ID and why there were only two lines (No, it was actually two mobs, separated by one person trying to keep an exit lane open).
Though it was probably the best chance to view all the clubs and find them easily, it still felt extremely difficult to actually find any clubs. For one, the organization of the tables was basic at best, but the lack of a chart made finding anything daunting (though that probably forced me to walk through all the aisles). In addition the clubs simply didn’t seem to make too much of an effort to attract new members. There was complementary food and some interesting objects here or there, but it was simply too crowded to see anything, and there didn’t seem to be much effort to really stand out. Well once you came to the club tables, the people that were there were pretty enthusiastic about having you sign up for the club, but the problem was getting people interested enough to look at the tables in the first place.
