Club Fair was overcrowded. It felt like the E train on a monday rush hour. It was helpful in a way because it made me aware of how many clubs were in Baruch, and how diverse the campus really is. I checked out a few tables like the japanese club, the beta honor society and Kapppa Phi Lambda. The club representatives were helpful and happy to talk about their club; after their explanation they leave it up to you if you want to sign up or not..but they still offered chocolates either way. There was a DJ but he shoudve played music to make the atmosphere a little more “college-student-like.” I didnt know which person is supposed to sign the passport, I tried looking for Jahn or Renee but it was too impossible because the Gym was a mess. I just asked one of the club representatives to sign it. I was hoping to see the Billiards club but they werent present so I was really dissapointed. Baruch should have organized this event better, they should have only invited a select number of students to prevent the Gym from being overcrowded and the lines wouldve been shorter to get in. Representatives who were supposed to sign the passports shouldve been in one section with a huge poster hangin, that way it wouldve been easier for us to find them.
