The workshop room was filled which forced people to sit on the ground or stand. Once the workshop started, four professors talked about ethnicity and race by using charts, maps, and diagrams from a PowerPoint. Something that caught my attention was the information about minorities, unemployment-rate, and income by ethnicity. This made me appreciate living in a multicultural place like New York City. The workshop covered important issues that still exist in the world today. The only problem with this workshop was that it started late and ended late. Overall, it was a enriching experience.
