Career Exploration- Interview skills.

On October 29th I attended the Basic Interviewing Techniques Workshop in VC- 1-107. this workshop held you learn very important points for when you go to interview for that job you really want. they showed us how to make that great first impression just by wearing the correct clothes and coming in strong and confident. they explained to us not to be fidgety and just relax and answer their questions in the most educated and meaningful ways. it also showed us how to come up with a personal pitch as though we ourselves were a one man company and the interviewer was deciding wether or not to invest in our company. also they explained how it would be important to research the company prior to our interview and have important background information to talk about during the interview  to prove your interest in the company and how much you would like to become a part of their prestigious firm. This workshop is going to prove to become very important to me in my near future when i go on interviews for internships and have to edge my way in among plenty of other hopeful applicants.
