I was on my way to room 5-125, when suddenly I was stopped by a mob of freshman standing in line. I had no idea what they were doing, I just thought they finished their classes and were leaving. To my amazement and disappointment, they were all going to the same Freshman Workshop I was going. I tried to look around to see where we were all supposed to go, and I saw a small 2 door entrance. How all these people were gonna fit through there just didn’t seem possible. I ended up skipping the whole line and squeezing through the door, to be greeted by a few more hundred people in a tiny room. I expected to be in an auditorium, but I guess that wasn’t happening. The first thing that came to my mind was signing my “Workshop Passport”. I waited in another line/mob just to get my book signed. No one bothered to help anyone. Everyone was just in a mad rush to get their books signed and leave, which seemed like a great idea. I certainly didn’t need any cookies or lemonade, but thanks anyway.
Did nobody anticipate this many freshman to come to their first workshop? They shouldve at least had different days for different groups. Hopefully the next workshop wont be so bad.
