Greek Week At Baruch

On September 14, I attended the Greek week at Baruch event. It was a powerpoint presentation. It’s thesis is tell us about how the history of fraternities and sororities affets us today. The speaker’s name is Join Darren M. Morton, M. Ed. He is a assistant vice president of sudent affairs at St. John’s University. We discussed about the history of Greek life and how it affects college campuses. It is a perfect new thing for me. I never heard about Greek and terms like fraternities. I asked Bayside number 1 about it. He told me go home and watch America Pie. During the presention, the powerpoint shows the development of Greek life and the timeline of each organizaton; for an example, NIC was first founded in 1909. I wrote down the most interesting organization to me which is NPHC. It dealsing with matters of mutual concern. It was a great presention. We also got free bottle of water and cookies. So anyone intested in Greek life, you should go to meet these amanzing speaker.
