After completing this history paper I feel like a zombie. I realized less than halfway through, this was the longest report I had ever written. And when I finally did finish, I felt absolutely relieved. However that lasted only a few minutes, because I remembered that I have two more essays to complete. The insane amount of essays at one time is definitely something that I’m not liking about college at all.
I also thought that this paper was a bit overwhelming I’m just happy that most of the essay was from our notes which made it that much easier to write. I was so happy to get rid of it, my bag felt so much lighter (even though I think it was probably just my imagination) I hope that the other history papers wont be this long.
My biggest challenge with this paper is the limited amount of expression we have with it. It is more or less a summary of what we have discussed in class suppored by two “primary sources” and the professor. And if we want to include our opinion, it’s strictly limited to what we think happened in Athens and why. Since the minimum requirement for this paper are six double-spaced pages, it’s more like writing three pages which isn’t so bad considering we are in college. Better than a 10 page thesis XP
