This was a workshop I attended a while back, once upon a time when these were mandatory. At first, I was not in the least excited to attend this one, because my previous experiences with the workshops weren’t so great. On the contrary, this was probably the most helpful workshop I attended. In this workshop, they discussed the components of how the resume and cover letter should be and what to include, strategies to excel in interviews and the resources at the STARR Career Development Center. The most informative aspect of the workshop was the explanation of the STARR Career Development Center elaborating on job fairs, and the resources available to us as students on their website. Overall, this is a resource that I am glad I have in the event it is ever needed.
