The freshmen seminar dates are extremely confusing. The dates are constantly changed and some seminars are getting cancelled without notice. Everytime I plan to go to a seminar it gets cancelled; this happened twice. We have to do six of these seminars yet we can’t know for sure if a seminar is really happening until the exact time the event scheduled.
Seriously, these workshops are sooo annoying. Baruch should just cancel it because it’s making everyone’s freshman yr harder.
all these workshops are getting to be very confusing. looking them up, when to attend, and whern ur finally there, it’s impossible to get a signiture. hopefully baruch will post more wokrshops as teh year goes on so we as students have more of an option of which workshop to attend
I don’t think there is another Community/ Global Awarness seminar until December 2nd which the Holiday Blood Drive. How do they expect us to get a signature for it if they don’t hold anymore seminars for Community/ Global Awarness?
The gallery tour was okay but it was a big group. It was very brief. The photo of that weird shaped tree and the nude bodies were interesting. These workshops seem to lose their purpose sometimes because everyone just wants the signature.
I completely agree with you. I was looking at the calendar for these seminars and I could’ve sworn the blood drive counted as one. But when I went to look at the calendar again, it wasn’t there. In addition, I thought the art exhibit we went to in English today would count as an Arts Appreciation seminar but it turns out it didn’t. Now I have to find a community/global awareness seminar as well as an art seminar. Is anyone else having better luck with these?
