Last Friday, our LC went to see the Broadway Hair. It was a very good show and we learned a lot about the people during that time. We became aware of the community during the 60’s and how difficult it must be to live during a time of drafting. We also learned about the hippie community, and what kind of people they really were. The Global awareness that was presented was about the drafting of all the men, and how they were forced to go to war. Everyone was brave enough to fight for what they believed in, in the show, by burning their draft cards, except for Claude. As a result, Claude died for something he didn’t believe in. So, this show depicted a lot of awareness both from their community and globally.
