Today I went to the Sigma Alpha Delta Volunteer Committee meeting. It was a very helpful meeting. We talked about upcoming events and the purpose of volunteering. We also discussed past volunteer events which included delivering meals to the needy, packing and serving meals and attending marathons. Through this meeting I got a better understanding of why we should volunteer and how important it is. At this meeting we discussed events that are going to come up like food drives and teaching children. I was persuaded to attend some of the events. We also talked about the requirements to get into the club. Overall, it was a good meeting because I learned alot more about the club itself and its purpose. I look forward to joining this club in the upcoming years at Baruch.
