I went to an event held in the multipurpose room last November and it was a screening of a program called “Your Life, Your Money”, hosted by Donald Faison (that guy that plays Turk on Scrubs!), and a panel discussion afterward involving 3 people who were in the video and a HSBC (who sponsored the event) representative. It was supposed to educate the audience about personal finance. While it was not as informative as I had hoped it would be, it was still entertaining and fun. There was also a lot of free stuff! Free USB when you walked in, free dinner, free copy of the DVD and book, and I also won one of their raffles!
