Career Planning: Impression Management

Last Thursday, I went to the Career Planning workshop called Impression Management on the third floor. The speaker began by asking members in the audience about their experiences with Baruch, ie. why they chose to attend this particular college or why they didn’t want to be there. He then began discussing Baruch’s image and how we as individuals need to work on our own images and how we are perceived by others, or our impressions on others and how we can manage these impressions. The speaker was interactive and spent the rest of the time asking for input from the audience as well as giving us more tips on how to leave good impressions.
