Section LC04

This workshop was similar to some things we talked about at the start of our Philosophy class. We were given some situations and asked what we would do if we found ourselves in them and why we would do whatever it is we responded. It was an interactive workshop and it was a little more fun then some of the other workshops which we only just sat through and listened to someone talk.

This was another very helpful workshop. We talked a lot about the different styles of note taking and I came to terms with how horrible I am at taking notes. We talked about active reading and how to analyze what you read. Some of the things we discussed were things that we’ve been learning over and over since before high school but they are good skills to have so in the end this was a very helpful workshop.

I think this was one of the most helpful workshops of all the ones I have been to. We learned about setting a good image for ourselves and creating lasting good first impressions. I already knew that it was a good idea to make sure you have a good image but this workshop has been helpful in making me realize how I can go about making sure I can do so.

Besides the long wait, I had very interesting time at the gallery. The artwork was really interesting to take a look at. We learned a little about the backgrounds of the paintings and although it was a little short I guess it was enriching to learn a little bit about the art.
