When I was invited to the first Orientation meeting to fufill the enrichment workshop, the email said the following:
Enjoy refreshments and listen to music while meeting your Academic Advisors and other freshmen. This is a great opportunity to have your academic questions answered such as:
What Majors/Minors are offered at Baruch College?
What courses can I register for in the spring 2010 semester?
Can I drop a course during the fall semester?
However, when we got there there were tons of kids and it was greatly overpacked. They later told us that they expected 2000 kids to show up, and about 1300 did. They hardly reviewed the topics posed, most of the time was spent signing our sheets, and worst of all, THERE WERE NO COOKIES!!! I hope future workshops are more beneficial to me.
