Yesterday I went to one of the enrichment workshops. It covered the Art section of our requirement. I went to The The Nature of Landscape/Nature of Photography (9/22/09 at 1pm-2pm). Although it was a short tour around one floor I did witness many magnificent paintings and photographs. Some photographs in particular that i was amazed were the photos from Marilyn Bridges, who provided photos from a bird’s eye view. Also i was fascinated by Lucien Clergue’s Four Nudes in the City, New York, 1983 mainly because at first i didnt realize what the actual picture was until i stared at it for another 10 seconds. It was then I saw the nudity yet nice landscapes it portrayed. Overall this workshop was indeed exciting and interesting and I hope the future workshops will pose a new discovery and fascination for me.
