The point of this workshop was to introduce us to the Academic Advisement center.   They reminded us of the requirements Baruch has about majors, minors, three different schools, ect.  This workshop didn’t really take me out of my comfort zone.  I guess cause it was about academics and it’s pretty straightforward.  We didn’t really get to do much.  The staff was overwhelmed by the amount of people that were there, so a lot of time was wasted trying to figure out where to put all the students.  I would recommend this workshop if you really don’t know anything about the academics at Baruch.  It’s good that I now know where the academic advisement center is located.  I think they’d be very helpful if i ever have a question.
