OK, so maybe I’m three weeks late at posting about this, but at least I’m posting. On September 24th, I went to the club fair held in the gym. It was awfully crowded, but none the less I became aware that every fraternity is racially segregated (not that I’m the least bit interested in frats). This intrigued me because I thought Baruch is really big on diversity, yet it brought me back to my high school days when everything was divided by race. So I moved on and looked at all these clubs and none really sparked my interest. I mean there was a lot of ethnic clubs and clubs for personal interest, but I realized I don’t have the time to dedicate towards being an active member of a club. But I took in all the information available to me and took mental notes of my options at Baruch. Although I left the gym without joining a club. I was able to feel apart of Baruch Student Life for my first time.
