Arts at Baruch

My second straight blog (I’m getting the hang of this thing now).

The second workshop I attended was Arts at Baruch. This was a bit more pleasant because I went with a few of my friends such as Basheer (Da BASH), Ryan (Mr. Sarcasm), and Ashley (a very nice person). I arrived at the workshop ten minutes before it began so I had time to walk around the art gallery by myself. I found the work very interesting but at the same time very confusing. A few minutes after, the tour guided explained most of the art in detail. One of the works that really fascinated me was the art that portrayed two people lying down naked. The first time I saw the picture I thought it was a hill or something. This lady really opened up my imagination by revealing and explaining the significance of this image. The one thing I truly loved about the workshop was the tour guide (I can’t remember her name at this time) really took her time and patience in explaining all of the works of art in detail. She didn’t rush through any of them. This demonstrated to me that she really loved art and she loved teaching those around her. She made my experience at this workshop a true joy. I would defiantly go back to this workshop just for fun.
