This workshop took place at the beginning of the semester. It was meant to introduce freshman to Baruch and allow students to interact. Almost every freshman showed up. The whole entrance on to the fifth floor was so packed from the elevators all the way towards the hallway for classes. But some good did come out of it. I got to know the people in my LC better because we stood waiting for so long there was nothing to do but talk and so it allowed us to talk more and become more comfortable with one another. At first I was shy but after being put in that situation I realized how much fun the people in my LC are and I can’t wait for the next semester because sometimes when you’re out of your comfort zone you learn more about yourself and the people around you and then it’s not so new and scary.
