Yeah I know I’m kind of late on blogging but like college has been so time consuming! Everytime I finish one thing I realize there are like 2 more things to do and honestly I put blogging as my lowest priority. Anyway I went to a workshop like a week ago. It was last Thursday during the 2 hour break that I think all of our LC went to this Student life enrichment workshop. Supposedly we were there to learn about the center for academic advisement but in reality I didn’t learn anything. Everything was just a big confusion. It was like a huge mass of freshmen waiting and then when we were finally let in the speakers were all in a rush and in such amazement of ‘the outcome in attendance’. And on top of that there were no cookies. Oh well I guess right.
Well that’s all I can write for now. I just wrote this real quick before i start on my 3 math assignments.
ughh being college is hard 🙁
College is time consuming. Time management is key to trying and succeeding in college. Anyone can tell you that. It’s your first semester and you are adjusting so it’s okay to feel overwhelmed with school work and everything else.
Try and expand a little bit about the workshop with the fomat below:
Title of workshop attended
Category of Workshop
Date/time of workshop
Brief description of workshop, and workshop goals as you understand them
Explain why you selected this particular workshop and how it took you outside your comfort zone. If it did not take you outside your comfort zone, explain why not.
How did this workshop meet or fail to meet your expectations? Would you recommend it to another student-why or why not?
What do you feel you learned from the workshop/experience? What surprised you about that? What was new that you could take away from this experience?- Guide to Blogging for Freshman.
