Books, computers, study pods, and the Engs. Oh boy did I have fun making the video with Mike. It definitely gave me a nostalgic feeling of being on camera once again, and improved my skills on iMovie. Mike and I put countless days of effort into the video in hopes that future freshman (and those who aren’t active in school I guess) could see it and learn some extremely helpful tips that would better their experience at Baruch. Although we haven’t heard back from the Library concerning whether we lost or not, I did enjoy myself and grew from the project. I wish the other contestants luck (unless someone’s already won, then congratulations)!
Apparently it’s okay to push it back since it was “unfair to give a contest to students while midterms are in session.”
What about the students who did participate in the contest such as Mike and I during midterms?
I also recently found out they pushed it back AGAIN, and midterms are still in full swing! When I had asked in December when we would find the results, I found out the person I was talking to hadn’t even seen the videos yet! There were 5 submissions and the guidelines stated that each video should shoot for a minute each. I asked WEEKS after the submission deadline.
It is a new year, almost four months into a new year actually, and I still don’t know what’s going on.
so what happened? did you win?
