So as you know I went to the Philly trip along with Ashley and Kali, LC06. At first I wasn’t going to go because there was only two more days until the deadline. I finally decided last minute to go to the trip, so after work on Friday I submitted my application along with my friend who I convinced right before I entered the room to submit. We ended up rooming together and had fun. The bus ride going there was ultimately boring since I sat with people I didnt know and i was really tired, but when we arrived things started to get interesting. Prior to the bus ride we had to arrive to Baruch by 9:30am which more than half of the people didn’t. Everyone was put into a group which included Orange group, midnite blue, electric lime and purple group which I was. We had to undergo a series of boring events such as speeches and games until about 3pm; however we did meet new people who introduced themselves right when they saw us.
That evening we were dropped off at a beautiful hotel and had a mixer where everyone danced and had fun. We played games and ate food until about 11:30pm we had to go to our rooms. Of course nobody wanted to sleep so everyone planned a party in their rooms which ended up being a story telling event. We got caught eventually because of all the noise and probably rumors, so the party was over and my friend and I just went back to our rooms. We took a shower adn watch TV until 3 then went to sleep. The next day we had to participate in a scavenger hunt whcih they provided questions for us to answer. They dropped us off and whichever group answered all the questions along with proof that they have gone there and meet at a certain place first wins. We went to many places such as the Liberty Bell, First bank of the USA and other historical places. When every group was done we were provided free meal and on Wednesday the 25th they will evaluate the answers and proof to see which group will win. Overall the trip was a bout meeting new people and working with them as well as having an extraodinary time for just $20.
