Since there weren’t anymore Academic Enrichment workshops available, we were allowed to use the Freshman Reception workshop as Academic and the Club Fair as Student Life. Thanks Analucia! Attending this workshop was really a spur of the moment sorta thing. I went with Martine and Diana. They gym was packed with people and rows of tables for all the different clubs. We looked around and talked to some people. I was kinda interested in this Environment club but i don’t think I signed up. Honestly, I’m not a club person. Even in high school, I rarely went. I’d rather do other types of extra credit. Plus, I knew it was gonna be hard to attend because I often use club hours to study for ecology.
I still think it’s good to attend. I think most people are interested in clubs. It was cool to see the wide range of clubs. There were clubs for all types of ethnicity’s, hobbies, and activities. There are many ways for Baruch students to get involved. A couple of days later, I remember there there being a street fair where all the clubs were present too. I guess it was kinda for the same thing?
