The title of this work shop was “Bearcat: The Other Google”. This workshop was about using the Library website as a search engine. The speaker claimed that it is “The Other Google” and that it may be more useful than Google. He also said that it would be easier to use and more helpful for research projects and essays. I learned a lot from this workshop. It helped me in my research essays and some of my projects. I also fine it useful in my final essay for English and Anthropology. He taught use how to use it if we are looking for specific books or looking for a specific topic. It could be very intimidating if you don’t how to use it. It isn’t useful when you don’t know what your looking for. So in that sense Google would be better to use. I learned a lot and I am sure that this knowledge will help me during my 4 years in this school.
