According to the experts, she is one cool chick. She grew up in harsh conditions, but was able to ascent to a position as powerful as Supreme Court Justice. Rather than contributing it to her heritage, the speakers mainly credited her gender. In fact, one of them talked about the Marie Curie complex and how most great women end up crediting “knowing the right people” instead of their own genius. Overall the workshop was very insightful and I learned a lot; despite not paying attention half the time (imagine what I’d learn if I paid attention!).
