baruch so far

This is the first time I am blogging , and I have to start by saying it took me a long time to figure out how to start blogging. I went to two workshops so far, the freshman seminar, library workshop. The freshman seminar was actually pretty beneficial for me because I actually got to talk to a counselor because me and Saransh stayed late. She told us about he exam we need to take for so that we can take the accounting class. That scared me a bit in the beginning cause I feel like the test might be a hard one to pass. Also she told us about the classes we need to take to get into the business school, and I was happy to discover that I won’t have to take two of the classes because I took them in high school.
The library workshop was pretty informative too, however most of the things they said were things I already knew. I found out about the library chat which seems pretty cool. Basically you can ask a librarian who might be in Australia a question about a book online.
I also went to a couple of clubs like MSA, Bangladeshi club, ECO club. I am thinking about joining the ECO club because I was always interested in living a green life. I went to the first ECO meeting today and it was pretty cool. They are thinking about going to Staten Island next week to plant treas. Also they have one of the club members go watch the custodians separate the trash from the item that need to be recycled, they found that most recycling bins are spoiled because people put there trash in there when they are not supposed to. I am looking forward to be working with this club.
