Nature of Landscape/Photography Workshop

Today at 1:00 I went to the gallery tour workshop at Sidney Mishkin. There was a short wait before the next batch of students were taken around the gallery. We were accompanied by a lady dressed in black which gave us very detailed analysis on the photographs she showed us. The photograph of the four nudes shocked me the most because all I saw was sand in the desert. It was hard to make out what they actually were until she pointed out the curves on the back of the bodies. I guess the photographer who took that shot did a pretty good job manipulating it into nature. The guide was a nice lady, but I had the impression that she was getting a bit tired of doing the same routine for every group that came to the workshop.
