Today I went to a career development work shop in the VC building. The workshop basically served to help us figure out our passions and direct us on how to focus on them. There were many activities that had us evaluate our own personal values and interests in order to help us find a major that we truly enjoyed. Being that there were very few students, the seminar was not as lively as I would have hoped and it became hard for me to really focus on the speaker. I did come away from the seminar thinking about switching to a liberal arts major, though. The seminar also helped me realize that entrepreneurship is something I might like to pursue so that I can fuse my creative side with my business ambitions.
Wow that’s really cool. So you want to be a liberal arts major and yet pursue entrepenuership? I wonder how that works =P
