This was the fourth workshop I attended. It was located right in the Library near the Ask Us desk. I forgot the instructor’s name, but he was the same exact person that taught our class in using the library site for our history paper.
Overall, the workshop only lasted thirty minutes and was somewhat useful. Since I already met this instructor before, the information was a bit repetitive. He talked about the use of Bearcat as a database and how it would be useful for our papers and research. He also mentioned many tips that can be used to navigate through this database and help you find exactly what you need. Again, all the information was given to me in a prior class but it was still a nice workshop.
After he showed us how to use it, he made us fill out a piece of paper of what we learned and our emails for further contact. This was a quick and easy workshop, that didn’t waste my time.
