My English teacher brought us to Baruch’s art gallery so we could see the (then) current exhibit, which displayed a multitude of landscapes that had been altered in a way to change their meaning. The photographs presented an alternative view of the landscape — for example, a field of crops was shot at a high angle, making it difficult to figure out what the photo was representing until you took a step back. This methodology of using unique camera positions and clever (and occasionally sneaky) artistic visions can create truly inspiring photographs. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience and I was glad to take part in it. I recommend it to anyone who is interested in learning more about alternative photography.
