“Using and Evaluating the Web for Research” Workshop 10/20

The 12:30workshop “Using and Evaluating the Web for Research” , was very usefull. The speaker explained different ways to research a topic. He showed the different databases to use, such as Google Scholar and Worldcat. He also mentioned different searching techniques to help find better results. The most helpful tip was to quote you keywords in order to get more accurate results.  I have a research paper assigned for my final exam. The reason I went to this workshop was to gain more knowledge on researching, so that my paper will be much easier. This workshop deffinatly meet my expectations, the speaker was very good at making the information interesting. I would recommend this workshop to everyone, becuase I learned a lot of valuable information that will help me throughout my college career.
