This was probably my favorite workshop that I have attended thus far.

As a high school student, I joined multiple clubs, and I was lucky enough to have a large quantity of clubs that I could join to choose from. However, in college, I would’ve never expected such a tremendous number of clubs for seemingly everything (there’s a club dedicated entirely to ballroom dancing!).
There were 170 clubs with booths set up at the fair, and many members of their respective clubs working hard, trying to promote and recruit potential members. Personally, I think that the entire fair was very well organized and the students have done a splendid job. They even tried to keep everyone interested by offering treats such as candy and condoms (although I’m not quite sure what condoms have to do with the studet newspaper…)

The one drawback to the club fair was that it was tremendously crowded, and we were on like to get our ID cards swiped for a VERY long time. I think that could’ve been avoided — however, I realize that is probably a bit unrealistic.

Overall, I think the club fair is something every Baruch student should attend. I even got to join a few clubs, which means the club fair definitely did serve it’s purpose.
