The Nature of Landscape of Photography 10/13/09

The visit to the art gallery was rather interesting. I had no idea what we were going to see or even why we were going so I had no expectations what so ever. However I saw a form of unusual art that we never see in life. There was a photograph of a landscape created with the forms of a human body. I did not realize until I was told so. My favorite were the photographs of nature, especially the canoe one. It felt so real like I could have been there in the picture. You can even see the outlines of the shadows of the trees on the surface of the river. And the vastness of nature/earth felt everlasting. Another one was a photograph of nature (trees) after a windfall. It actually said “windfall” on the photograph, another form of art. Depicting the picture with words to describe/tell the point. Overall I was satisfied with the visit and looking forward to another art exhibit.
